I find scheduling weekends a problem because I want to simultaneously catch up with all the household and personal stuff I can't do in the week due to the day job AND relax and take it easy to recover. This is just not possible!

Yep -- spotted that -- there are dailies I might get done at weekends but which won't matter if they wait until Monday (could cheat and schedule them for Monday, I suppose).

Plus there doesn't seem to be any allowance for 'I was ill due to known chronic condition and caught up two days later.'

I'm assuming you have taken the plunge and set up a Habit account. Have you discovered how to grey out dailies? If you edit the task, you can set it for only certain days or -- and I do this -- if I can't do it due to circumstances beyond my control, I will temporarily grey it out. The other thing you can do it insert a checklist with one item. I have one on the gardening daily which says, "Weather too awful for gardening." Ticking just the checklist item but leaving the main daily unchecked means that you neither get credit nor take damage.

Now that's a useful tip -- thank you.
