This week's theme was: C is for Changes

Last time we visited the Gwynfynydd gold mine site just over 2 years ago, this window still had glass in it. There have been a few changes since then and the site continues to deteriorate.

It's nice knowing the context and something about the location, but I like the photo a lot just based on form. Thanks for posting!

Thanks. I don't often convert photos to B&W, but there was so little colour in the original that I thought it should work well in monochrome.

Nice! I like the contrast between the fluid, curvy wire and the otherwise straight lines.

Thanks. I don't often convert photos to B&W, but there was so little colour in the original that I thought it should work well in monochrome.

There would have been plenty of scope to indulge your liking for rust and industrial decay at that site, but I didn't have all that much time as we wanted to carry on with the walk.
