Will this be the year I actually do something with the garden?

Today I mowed all the front grass. It takes about two hours, which I do in sessions of around 30 minutes each with little breaks between sessions, so don't end up exhausted at the end. It was very hot and I ended up dripping with sweat, but I got chance to try out the parasol I bought at the end of last summer, right at the point where the weather broke so I didn't get to use it!

I burn with the least bit of sun so I spent last summer frustrated because the sun was too intense and too bright to read Kindle books on the tablet. It was only when the summer was nearly over that it occurred to me that what I needed was a parasol. Anyway, today, in the breaks between mowing sessions I got to try it out and it's exactly what I needed.
