Vintage cars

I'm still keeping up with the challenge to post something in a journal every day. Last Thursday I went to a harp concert arranged by the local Welsh literary society. I'll do a separate post about the concert, but as the weather was really bad and the car park is free after 6 p.m., I drove into town instead of walking. This meant that I went round the one-way system and spotted these old cars in the on-street parking spaces. Instead of going through the short cut to the hall where the concert is being held, I walked round so I could snap a few quick photos of these very cute vintage Austins.

This van is "Dave's rapid response vehicle".

And this is "Betsy".

So stylish, but I suspect not very comfortable for a long drive and I'd be terrified driving one in modern traffic where all the cars are so much bigger than you are.
