Lots to do, no motivation

Over in one of the Habitica guilds, someone posted that their goal was:

"To do the best I can today. Not some theoretical best, like the day where I got in the zone and managed to do a huge amount at work, or the days where I get the cleaning bug and have too much caffeine and end up getting my apartment into Martha-Stewart-approved condition. The best I can today. At this point in time, under these conditions, in this frame of mind, and with this start to the day. As long as I genuinely try, and do the best I can today, that’s a success."

I will adopt that idea because this week I feel sluggish. I was doing really well and being productive but then the hour moved back last weekend and I know it's only an hour, but it seems to have knocked me off my stride. I'm waking up at the wrong time now. I was waking around 6.30 and then reading a little in bed before the alarm went off at 7 a.m. Now I'm waking at 5.30 which is much too early so I'm trying to go back to sleep and thus end up being woken by the alarm instead of waking naturally. I know I will soon readjust, but it's frustrating.

Anyway, I have a little list of things I want to do today and I've done none of them yet, though I did make soup for lunch to use up the butternut squash that has been in the fridge for a few weeks. So that was useful and the soup was tasty.
