Barmouth dunes

16/30 for my photo-a-day in November challenge

I met my husband in Barmouth and we had lunch. He'd walked all the way along the Mawddach Trail (10 miles); I drove and just had a little wander around the town, but it made a nice change and the lunch was excellent. We'll definitely do this again some time.

We ate in the Last Inn, an old and low-ceilinged pub that serves very nice bar meals. I had cod and chips, G had the chicken curry. The portions were substantial and neither of us want anything to eat this evening!

The other reason for going (in addition to giving ourselves a little treat) was to investigate the kitchen design shop. Once the new combi boiler has been installed, the next step is a complete kitchen makeover. I came away with a fat catalogue of kitchen units which I will browse through at my leisure. We're not likely to have the work done until the New Year, but there are a lot of decisions to make before we can proceed.
