Patient dog

14/366

I needed to post a birthday card (daughter's birthday tomorrow) and we also needed some milk and bread, so after a day spent working on the computer while I waited for the rain to stop, I hurried into town shortly before 5 p.m. This lovely patient dog was waiting for its owner outside the Spar/Post Office.

Further to yesterday's storm, our neighbour has lost several ridge tiles from her roof. Our roof seems to have survived unscathed, but we're sheltered by the house that is the other half of the semi. Our neighbour's house sticks out beyond ours. Normally that's fine, but there were some really strong gusts yesterday. Anyway, she had some workmen round to look at it, so I hope she can get it repaired quickly.
