Feeling productive

Today is the first day since we started the serious social distancing that I have felt productive. Firstly I managed to run a hangout with most of the group of people who come to the informal Welsh chat in the local cafe. Of course the cafe is closed until heaven knows when, but I didn't want us to drift apart because we've got to know one another quite well.

A few people had a bit of trouble logging in, but there were 6 regulars and a chap who has recently moved to the area and had joined our group a couple of times. After some trepidation on the part of the less tech-savvy people, it was a great success, so we'll be doing the same thing each Wednesday, until we can meet face-to-face again.

Then this afternoon I gave the front grass its first cut of the spring. It only took an hour, so either I've started a bit earlier this year or the grass is getting smoother now it's being mowed more regularly.
