Here is the shopping forecast

There were light scatterings of tinned goods across the shelves in the Co-op this morning. The likelihood of more arriving next week appears good. Vegetables and fruit are persisting on the shelves near the entrance. Potatoes and carrots remain plentiful, good choice of salad, mushrooms as usual though onions were sparse and garlic has disappeared for the time being. Garlic in a jar was still available. Herbs scarce, no rice at all.

Spaghetti has appeared on the bottom shelf, jars of bolognese sauce are now back, biscuits are freely available. No cereal or porridge oats.

Chicken and minced beef were in good supply also chilled pizzas. Frozen foods more or less normal.

Wine has made a welcome return. Supplies were low last week. Fresh bread, pies and cakes available as usual. Milk plentiful, also cheese, ham and other cold meats.

No soap or paracetemol, but toilet rolls and kitchen roll are increasing. Other cleaning products available.

Store quiet with people keeping the required distance. Checkout orderly and achieved without fuss.
