Settling into a new routine

After a couple of weeks where I felt I wasn't getting anything useful done (apart from keeping us fed) I'm finally settling into the new "normal".

The Skype Welsh class sort of happened this morning. Three people failed to join the group because they had not supplied the correct details to the university technician who had set everything up, but the four of us, plus tutor, had a good chat and also managed to read an article from the course book. There will be no class next week because it's Easter Monday, but they should run regularly after that.

Lunch today was All the Random Vegetables From the Fridge Soup, and very nice it was too. It will never be reproducible because there will never be the same combination of odds and ends again.

I did an hour of video editing and have now finished the first half which explains Welsh Scrabble. I've just made a start on the second half about Rory's Story Cubes.

Because I still had things to do, I didn't want to go for a long walk but wanted to get some exercise. I therefore walked briskly up the very steep path and then back down a slightly different way. So though it was only 20 minutes, it gave me a good workout.

Today's photo. Daffodils

I do like the flippy-out screen on the Canon M50. It makes close ups of flowers so much easier. I used to be happy to lie flat on the ground, but I'm getting too old for that and, besides, it looks really odd if you do it where other people might see!

And today's bonus photo...

Taken during my government mandated exercise session for today. This is just 10 minutes brisk walk from my home.
