Looking forward to fruit

In the new year, we made plans. We booked a holiday to Pembrokeshire to spend one week in March in a cottage, exploring and taking photos for G's book about the landscape and geomorphology of Wales. We booked a few days in Cardiff for May and I had booked to go to the Eastercon, the biggest British SF convention. I'd also been planning a trip down to the SW of England during the summer to visit my brother in Salisbury and even, finally, visit Bath and Glastonbury. So many exciting journeys to look forward too.

Then, as we all know, there was a lockdown and everything got cancelled and all we're hoping for now is that all our family and friends reach the end of the year alive and well. Very strange times...

20/30 for my photo a day in April

I'm crossing my fingers and hoping that I get some fruit this summer from these jostaberry bushes. For some years I got lots of fruit and made jam, but I think I made a mistake with the pruning and possibly one year the bushes got some sort of disease, but I haven't had enough berries for jam for a while. So far this year is looking OK.
