Feeling tired

I am an introvert (as is G) and I'm enjoying some aspects of the lockdown. However, I'm only doing exactly the same amount of social stuff as before, but feel much more exhausted by it, even though the online video conference sessions are shorter than the face-to-face sessions. Our Welsh lesson is one hour instead of two, the informal chat Welsh session normally lasts from 10 a.m. to midday, but we do a 1 hour hangout as a replacement. I chat to my elderly friend for half an hour by phone instead of walking up to her house to spend an hour with her, but it's just more intensive. Moments of silence are normal in face-to-face interactions, but pauses feel awkward online/on the phone or you worry that the technology has failed.

Anyway, today I managed another successful shopping trip, so we have food for another week. Also the oximeter I had ordered just arrived. I've tested it and it works. Hermes solved the problem of social distancing while delivering by placing the small package on the doorstep then knocking and running away! No sign of a delivery person when I opened the door.
