I have a new computer!

The new computer arrived about 15 minutes ago. I haven't opened it yet because I need to check that the backups of the stuff on the old computer are all up to date and make a note of all the software I need to install before I attempt to set up the new computer.

Right now the weather is awful with very high winds as Storm Francis passes across the country. Power is OK so far, though there was a flicker that caused the computer to go off and then restart, so I'm leaving all computer sorting out until things calm down tomorrow.
