A beautiful walk through a historic landscape

After a much longer gap than I wanted, I have just uploaded another video to my YouTube channel.

The weather is rather changeable at the moment, but I grabbed the chance of a beautiful day at the end of September to film a walk through the historic Nannau Deer Park. There are no deer there now, sadly. They escaped from the park in 1963 and now live in the nearby forest. Though they probably still visit occasionally. They certainly did 20 years ago when I kept ponies in a field on the edge of the park. If the weather was very cold so the small streams on the hill froze, the deer would come down to drink and shelter from the winds.
