Trilingual sign

This week's theme was: U is for Unusual

I hadn't yet thought of a subject for this week's theme, but when I processed this photo that I snapped with my phone this morning, I realised that I had already photographed something unusual!

Our local Co-op has been refurbished and I'd taken a couple of shots of the empty shelves and missing ceiling as the work progressed. I therefore decided to take a photo of the nice new chilled cabinets now the work is nearing completion.

It was only when I looked more closely at the sign hanging from the ceiling that I realised that it had an Irish Scottish Gaelic phrase in place of the Welsh for "Quick and easy meals".

Bilingual signs are normal, trilingual signs are unusual! :-)

Here's a cropped version showing the sign more clearly...

Otherwise it was a successful shopping trip. The freezer cabinets were full and I got everything on my shopping list.

I saw that they now have a sort of corral with some self-service checkouts. I won't be using those at the moment because I'm only shopping once week and getting a trolley full of stuff.
