Yay, a dry afternoon!

There was a brief spell of dry weather this afternoon which gave me a window of opportunity to reconnoitre some locations for my next video. I don't think I've ever walked all the way round Llyn Cynwch before, or at least not for many years. We normally head off up the hill to do the Precipice Walk and then return down the same side of the lake. There were quite a lot of people doing the Precipice Walk and I don't think they were local. The couple I overtook on the way back to the car park were definitely not local. I know Wales isn't in strict lockdown at the moment, but England is and people shouldn't really be travelling for holidays. We currently have 4 local small shops closed because the owners have been told to self-isolate due to a customer having tested positive. It could have been a local person who visited the shops, but they were the sort of shops that would appeal to tourists, so I have my suspicions.

Not much colour in the landscape at this time of year...

Llyn Cynwch

However, it will suit the theme of the next video which is local ghost stories and folk tales. I actually don't want a bright sunny day for that.
