A walk with daddy

I have finally got around to trying the cheap slide scanner I bought a few years ago. I had a slide scanner which was slow and didn't produce good results, but then my brother bought a much cheaper scanner that worked entirely differently. I decided that at that price I'd buy one too. However, for whatever reason, it's been sitting unopened for quite a few years.

The Veho Smartfix cost a fraction of the first scanner, but this is a test slide I scanned today. It needed hardly any tweaking in PhotoShop Elements. The quality is perfectly good enough for what I need. The photo was taken decades ago and the baby on his daddy's back will be forty in just over a week's time!
