My haiku writing month

As I said yesterday, while everyone is beavering away at their NaNoWriMo novels, I'm revising the first draft I completed on 2 October. But my challenge for new writing was to produce a haiku a day. Here are the two required to bring me up to date:

a blue and white cup
black tea hot in my mouth
steam in my nostrils


murmur of voices
footsteps creaking down the stairs
it’s time to go home


Just need to fill out my travel claim form and the time sheets for the sessions I do at the centre in Wrexham then I can go home too.
