In other news...

The iPod that Amazon said would take 4-6 weeks has unexpectedly arrived, only a few days after ordering it. As it won't work with Windows 98, I'll have to use it via G's new XP machine in the moments when he's not using it. I will be trading in my own computer for a new one, sooner rather than later, but I want to start playing with my new toy now.

Next step is to order the little gadget that fits into the cassette slot of the car cassette player so I can play music etc. through the car speakers.

Reason for stopping: Need to actually write some extra bits and I must finish marking the fiction writing assignments.
Other: Parts of this were like wading through treacle, but then, just as I was about to stop, I hit a good patch and whizzed through a goodly number of pages to finish with a nice round total. I would like to finish the revision before I go back to work, but I may run out of time.
