Off for a short walk

Right! I think I've hit the point of diminishing returns with the radio play. (That's the one I'm writing for the second assignment for the advanced creative writing course.)

It's the right length (I sort of acted it out first thing this morning) and I posted the ending to the tutor group forum, and it seems to work. I have now reached the point where I'm obsessively going over and over it and tweaking the odd word here and there, so I think a quick walk is in order to clear my mind and get the circulation going after sitting all morning, and then I can write the commentary. I might even submit it tonight, otherwise I'll spend another morning going over and over it tomorrow and I have other things I need to be doing.

It's official. The UK is all white!

You may already have seen this on the news, but satellite pictures show that everywhere is covered in snow!

This is Not Right. We rarely get snow on the ground here, we're much too near the coast. The picture clearly shows that even the North Wales coast is snow covered. I phoned my Dad to check that he was OK and he confirmed that they had snow in Prestatyn, which is normally a little climate enclave of lovely weather compared with everywhere else.

I do hope Greenland will give us our warm current back. We desperately need it!
