Clean all the things!

I do love our recycling centre

After sending us two fine sunny days in a row, the weather gods have obviously run out of fine weather and they are sending cloud and drizzle again. However, we didn't let that put us off and G and I have now taken the very old dead tumble dryer to the recycling centre.

I'd managed to get it out of the house and into the back garden a couple of weeks ago and since then it's been standing by the back gate, but though I could get it down steps, I couldn't get it up the steps to the car park and certainly couldn't struggle it into our vehicle. Anyway, between us we got rid of it, so that's another long overdue task I can tick off my To-Do list.

Cartgylchu / recycling cart

Before I could use our new cartgylchu (recycling cart), I needed to put the house number on the three bins.

I'm quite pleased with how these hand painted numbers came out -- as long as you don't look too closely! :)

When in use, the three bins stack on a two wheeled trolley to make it easier to get the recycling to the kerb for collection.

Jagged keys

10/52 for the group 2016 Weekly Alphabet Challenge

This week's theme was: J is for Jagged

My photography mojo seems to have vanished. This is yet another desperation shot and not even original. (Someone else in the group had already done keys.)

I tried photographing some bush saw blades, but the result was very meh and they keys turned out better.

If only the weather had been better, I could have gone out to photograph some jagged rocks, but the two fine days occurred on days I had to work and today is grey, dismal and drizzly. :(
