Freewriting

The creative urge stirs at last...

I had fun yesterday at Fantasycon. birdsedge had recommended it, saying it was more writerly than Eastercon and I really enjoyed my day there.

I did a story structuring workshop run by Heide Goody and Iain Grant, two writers whose books I've enjoyed. I didn't particularly learn anything new, but their whole approach and enthusiasm got me excited about writing again and so this morning I opened up the stuck novel for the first time for ages. Time to stop spending so much time on Twitter and write instead!

I have achieved jam!

It's that time of year again, time for the photoshoot with the pots of newly made jam.

There weren't enough jostaberries this year for jam and I didn't collect any blackberries as there is still some blackberry & apple jam left from last year. But I did buy some plums because I'm very fond of plum jam.

42/52 for the group 2018 Weekly Alphabet Challenge

This week's theme was: P is for Plastic

I am hopelessly behind with the weekly alphabet photos. I have taken at least one or two photos each week, though recently they've tended to be off-topic so not posted to the group.

This time I was organised and went out looking for litter. With hindsight, I should have taken a rubbish sack with me to collect what I saw, but thankfully there wasn't as much as I feared.
