Exciting packages

Yesterday Lulu delivered two more copies of G's geology book. He gave away our copy to the local library and the copy I'd bought for a friend got given to a neighbour. So we now have our own copy again and I'll arrange to visit the friend sometime so she can pay for the one I ordered for her.

Today a large brown envelope plopped through the letterbox. As I picked it up, it was thick and squishy. It was the commemorative t-shirt I'd ordered from YesCymru. As I was "there on the square" in Merthyr Tydfil, I couldn't resist a wearable souvenir.

Cader Idris from Llanelltyd

38/52 for the group 2019 Weekly Alphabet Challenge

This week's theme was: L is for Landscape

This topic should be a gift for me, easy as pie, and this year it was. We've had the same theme in previous years and I've been faced with a week of solid rain and minimal visibility. However, this time all it needed was a short local walk to get this shot.

You get a great view of Cader Idris from the river bank at Llanelltyd, though it's not often you see the mountain completely without cloud. However, it's not easy to take a good photo because the sun is always in the wrong position.
