Raindrops on window

The shopping news

Only two more shops now before the Co-op refurbishment is complete -- allegedly.

Once again I managed to buy almost everything I wanted, apart from Cheddar cheese and satsumas. I nearly forgot butter, so had to go round one aisle twice, but there was chicken this week, so I got a couple of packs of chicken breasts, one of which is now in the freezer.

I didn't take a photo today, but the blank wall on the left of the last photo now has new shelf units placed against it.

Because G will be missing his little citrus fruits, I'll bring the top-up shop forward to Thursday. The Eurospar should have the things I couldn't get today.

I timed the shopping trip well too. It's been wet all day, but showers interspersed with short dry intervals rather than the constant rain we had over the weekend. So though it was raining when I drove to the Co-op, I managed to trundle the stuff to the car and then unload it at home while it was dry.

The sky today

45/52 for the group 2020 Weekly Alphabet Challenge

This week's theme was: S is for Sky

The weather is very changeable at the moment. This was the sky today from my study window. The photos were taken between 11 a.m. and 2.45 p.m. They were just phone shots because I wasn't sure whether the idea would work, but I did manage to get enough variation.
