Tips on how to be (dis)organised #1

  1. Over breakfast and using an intricate system of lists on your Psion palmtop, work out a list of Urgent Things To Do Today.
  2. Copy and paste the list into the Psion's word processor.
  3. Hurry upstairs to your study where the PC is waiting, having been switched on earlier.
  4. Connect the Psion to the PC.
  5. Print the To Do list, omitting to pull out the little plastic paper-support thing that prevents the printed papers falling onto the floor under the desk.
  6. So as not to waste a moment of time, go and clean teeth while the list prints.
  7. Hurry upstairs, disconnect Psion, put it into briefcase, switch off PC.
  8. Gather work stuff and rush out.
  9. Drive to work.
  10. Arrive in work to realise that the To Do List is still on the floor under the desk at home.
