Writing progress -- novel in 90

Words written today: 986
Total words in novel: 58272
People killed: 0
Mean things done to characters: Lulled them into a false sense of security. *g*

I was doing very well this morning and produced 434 words quite quickly. Then I suffered a Person From Porlock moment. Or, to be more precise, my husband interrupted me to demand lunch.

It took ages to get going again. As part of my procrastination, I did at least go for a small walk to investigate the local leisure centre -- which turned out to be closed. Closed! On a Saturday! When surely people have the leisure to engage in physical activity? I also scrutinised the dusty bookcase in the downstairs hall. Deciding that I could use writing in order to procrastinate on doing the housework, I went back upstairs to tackle more of Chapter 10. *g*
