I'm supposed to be marking assignments, but that usually leads to procrastination. Pinched from hrj.

Will you get far in life?
Karaoke Queen -- Catatonia
Depends on what you mean by "far". I have so far resisted anything resembling a career. But I'm going to make an exhibition of myself, obviously. *g*

How do your friends see you?
The starting gate -- Planxty
An instrumental piece, this is open to interpretation. They think I'm the start of a race? However, the live audience on the recording seemed very appreciative, so I will take that as a good sign.

Will you get married?
Sweep, chimney sweep -- Steeleye Span
As I am married, this question is moot. But as the sweep in question is out hunting for a wife, it is at least on topic for the question.

What is your best friend's theme song?
U16 Girls -- Travis
My best friend attracts/is attracted to under-age girls? I think not!

What is the story of your life?
Easy Skanking -- Bob Marley
This is just so wrong it's hilarious!

What was high school like?
Dandy in the Underworld -- T. Rex
Just a few years too late for my high school days. They were called Tyrannosaurus Rex way back then. But they were one of my fave bands at the time. *g*

How can you get ahead in life?
Lost Cat -- Catatonia
Hmmm... Pass. But perhaps (see below) I just need to find a cat again, then my cat will talk to the editor's cat.

What is the best thing about your friends?
All Alone -- T. Rex
I think the first line says it all. My friends tend to be online these days. I meet them virtually whilst sitting at home.

What is today going to be like?
Peace Of Me -- Natasha Bedingfield
Sounds about right. At least all the feelings of dissatisfaction with life bit.

What is in store this weekend?
Chump -- Greenday
I don't know you but, I think I HATE you. You're the reason for my misery. Strange how you've become my biggest enemy and I've never even seen your face
Bingo! This would obviously refer to all the students whose assignments I have to mark before Monday.

What song describes you?
The Bonny Irish Boy -- Steeleye Span
G isn't Irish, nor was I forbidden to spend time with him. So way off beam there then.

What song describes your grandparents?
The Mother of Misogyny -- Catatonia
Definitely doesn't fit the grandfather I knew. The other one died not long after I was born, so who knows?

How is your life going now?
Padi -- Mynediad am Ddim
Five pounds in my pocket and a bottle of gin, arriving in Caergybi in the rain.
Rather a melancholy song, the tone seems to fit, even if the actual story doesn't.

What song would they play at your funeral?
Shame for You -- Lily Allen
I very much doubt it! The mind she boggles.

How does the world see you?
Raggle Taggle Gypsy -- Planxty
Riiiiiiight! They do, do they? In which case they're seriously deluded. I have never been tempted to run away to live in the woods with a gypsy. I'm far too wedded to my comfort to even think of it.

Will you have a happy life?
Thomas the Rhymer -- Steeleye Span
Er... I'll take that as a "no" then? But possibly an interesting one?

What do your friends really think of you?
Everybody's Gonna Be Happy -- The Kinks
Perhaps they do think I'm a jolly sort of person?

Do people secretly lust after you?
Come Dancing -- The Kinks
No, they only want to dance with me!

How can I make myself happy?
And The Mouse Police Never Sleeps -- Jethro Tull
I need to acquire another cat. I knew it!
(Strangely, I have been thinking of having one, but I need to see how life is going to pan out first before I take on the extra responsibility.)

What should I do with my life?
Re-Offender -- Travis

Will you ever have children?
Secrets -- The Zutons
Actually, it's no secret, I have two, both adult now.
