Writing progress -- novel in 90

According to my spreadsheet, today was the 90th day for me.

Unfortunately, I wrote 0 words today. :-(

I had hoped to end with a bang, a last minute sprint, but I rather fizzled out due to exhaustion caused by the day job and various stressful life things. Never mind...

I knew when I started that I wasn't going to achieve the full aims of novel_in_90, but looking on the bright side, I have written 40,463 words since the challenge began. I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't have written anything like that much if it hadn't been for Ni90. So for me it's been a huge success.

My plans now are to take a short break from the novel for a couple of days while I'm attending Eastercon, then I need to set a new target in order to complete the last few chapters. My (self-imposed) deadline for completing the first draft was 31 May, and if I achieve that, it will largely be due to the support of everyone in the novel_in_90community. It really has been a great help. I hope it continues, even though the initial 90 days is up.
