I, meanwhile, had a leisurely breakfast and then trundled out into downtown Boulder again. I discovered that the shops don't open until 10.00 am, so I ambled around the Pearl Street Mall for a little while and then did a tour of the shops.
It was a nice change to be browsing American West themed gifts and souvenirs, as opposed to Welsh/Celtic or Olde Englishe ones. I did manage to find a very nice necklace to go with the new dress I bought for M's wedding, so that was a great success.
I lunched on a tuna salad sandwich, then ambled on right up to the end of Pearl Street and then followed the Creek Path into Eben Fine park. I sat here for a bit, watching everyone enjoying the sun and water. The in thing seems to be whooshing down the little rapids on big inner tubes. I read for a bit and then ambled all the way down the Creek trail to Canyon Blvd and hence the long trek back to the motel.
I will now go and see if my brain can conjure up any words for the WIP while I wait for G to return from his day of study.
