Tedious but useful day

I've spent most of today scanning in family snapshots. As this is rather a slow business, I was combining the job with reading Bywyd Blodwen Jones, an easy to read and amusing Welsh novel, vaguely modelled on Bridget Jones's Diary. However Blodwen lives in the Welsh countryside, is a librarian and has a goat and a cat. She's also attending a Welsh for Adults evening class and has a serious crush on her Welsh teacher.

Anyway, behind the cut, there is one of my favourite photos of our daughter A, taken when she was 18 months old. I was so pleased to get a passable scan of this. :) I've also scanned a print of A on the "unicorn", which has come out much better than the scan of the slide.

Here is Alison all ready for the fancy dress parade at our local carnival. Photo taken in 1981.

Off for a walk now to stretch my legs and rest my eyes before cooking dinner.
