I went, I had fun in a low key and relaxing way, I came back. :)
The journey was fine: car to station, train to Wolverhampton, bus to hotel. The hotel was fine. The company was good and there was just about enough of it. I also had a little time to chill out alone and I got to grips with the synopsis of Moving a Mountain and worked out how to revise the opening scene.
Journey back today was fine and I've spent the afternoon catching up on email, LJ and the fiction writing students.
Back in work tomorrow, but I'm not teaching so can do lesson prep and sort out the new class that starts next Monday.
I have made notes on various panels, so I'll try and do more detailed posts as and when I get time.
