Eowyn Challenge -- progress

Walking to Rivendell

Miles travelled today: 9½
Miles travelled so far: 385
Miles still to go: 73
Percentage complete: 84%

Point reached on journey: It's still raining. I'm about to reach the place where the Hobbits will camp on a stony shelf by a shallow cave. The rain will stop soon.

Where I really went...

Just for a bike ride along the old railway track.

My trusty bike

My trusty steed has two wheels these days rather than four legs. :)

My current photographic project is supposed to be self-portraits, so I thought I'd better take a couple.

Be careful if you go up there!

A rather alarmist sign at the start of a footpath. I didn't go up here. :)

Cherry tree

It was a surprise to see this little cherry tree blooming in farmland.

Gulls on the estuary

Gulls foraging on the sand.

Barmouth bridge

Looking down the Mawddach Estuary towards the Barmouth railway bridge.
