Eowyn Challenge -- progress

Walking to Lothlorien

Miles travelled today: 3½
Miles travelled so far: 47 (505 from Bag End)
Miles still to go: 415
Percentage complete: 10%

Point reached on journey: I have just crested the top of a hill and seen the snowcapped peak lying due east.

Where I really went...

Just the short local circuit: up Cadair Road, turn right along the little lane that skirts the foothills of Cadair Idris and back down the bridleway. And I didn't see any peaks at all, they were hidden in the mist/low cloud.

I did, however, gather a bag of blackberries, which we will have in a crumble as our pudding tonight. :)

No time to post photos tonight as I want to have a quick shower, eat and then relax in front of the TV. My legs feel as though they've walked 10 miles not 3½, but that's what comes of not being able to walk properly for 4 weeks due to falling off a path and pulling a muscle. However, the legs only feel tired, even the one I injured, so everything must have healed OK and I just need to build my fitness again.
