The walk out was pretty brisk because I was chasing the light. Then the walk back was also brisker than I'd intended because the light was fading. It was dark by the time I reached Penmaenpool, where I'd left the car, which by then had a film of frost over it. It was very cold for November. Usually it's still wet and mild at this time of year.

If you look carefully, you can see the railway bridge in the distance spanning the mouth of the estuary.

I managed to catch the little train crossing the bridge.
This was my favourite of the batch. The colour deepened after this, but I love the subtlety and the little bit of reflected sunlight in the cloud.


This was about the most intense. I decided I'd better head for home after taking this and the colour faded soon after.
