The wailing of sirens never heralds good news

Something bad must have happened somewhere locally because the helicopter landed on the playing fields about 10 minutes ago and I've just heard the wail of an ambulance. :(

That reminds me that I read an article once about our local enclosed order of Carmelite nuns. They said that when they heard the search and rescue helicopter going over the convent towards the mountain, they always knew what to pray for.
