Another outing with George

Today it was the bike's turn to be taken out for a run. It was a lovely evening, so I bundled George and the camera into a rucksack and set off down the old railway line (now a walking and cycle trail). This is taken at the furthest point, a lovely picnic spot on a tiny promontory that gives a lovely view down the estuary towards Barmouth.

There are convenient hitching posts for bikes near the various picnic tables. Here George tries my bike for size. :)

After the ride along the old railway line, carried on my back in a rucksack, George wanted to stretch his limbs with a spot of tree climbing.

I let George out of the rucksack to admire the view of the old wooden toll bridge that crosses the Mawddach Estuary by the George III Hotel, Penmaenpool.
