The photo is of the church of Llandrillo in Rhos on Sea (Llandrillo yn Rhos).
Situated on the top of a hill, it's an old church. One famous person who is buried in the graveyard is Harold Lowe, hero of the Titanic.
According to Wikipedia, Rhos-on-Sea's greatest claim to fame is that, according to legend, Madog ap Owain Gwynedd, a Welsh prince of Gwynedd, sailed from here in 1170 and discovered America, over three hundred years before Christopher Columbus's famous voyage in 1492. This event is apparently recorded by a plaque on one of the properties on the sea-front, but I didn't notice it.
