Another weekend, another field trip.
There was quite a large group on Sunday, made up of students from G's geology evening class. There's an interesting mix of ages. There are the mature adults and also about 4 youngsters about 17 years old who are doing the class so they can take the geology A-level. Some of the adults are doing the A-level too, but in their case it's just for fun.
This was about the highest point I reached, though while we skirted around the mountainside and then dropped back down via a small river valley, some of the party went off to climb up to the summit and walk down on the other side.
This strangely shaped little lake was at the top of the rocky cliffs we scrambled up.
