At lunch time I spotted this blackbird eating one of the apples in our neighbours' tree.
I didn't know they ate fruit. I thought they were insectiverous and wormiverous. I took the shot through the conservatory window because I knew that if I went out into the garden, I'd scare him away, but if you click through you can view it larger on Flickr and the blackbird is quite clear.
