Supporters and the media waiting to hear about Assange's bail

An unusually topical photo from me! I just happened to be walking past the Royal Courts of Justice a few minutes before the announcement came that Julian Assange, founder of Wikileaks had been granted bail.

There were nearly as many press as supporters, who were gathered in a knot by the door, chanting sporadically. I may even have appeared fleetingly on American TV as I hurried by the TV people, huddled under little awnings to keep the rain off.

When I looked on the web just now, the BBC news site said that bail had been granted.

Waiting to hear whether Assange will be granted bail
