Photo-a-day 357/365 Winter catkins by the river


Last Thursday, fed up with trudging into town down the road, I walked into town via the footpath that runs round the edge of the playing fields, by the side of the river.

To my surprise, the going was much better than along the pavement, which is lumpy and icy because it's been compacted.
