Heaving a huge sigh of relief

The mega-heap of marking is all finished. At last!!!!!

It feels like it's been going on for ever, but now it's done, all 64 assignments -- that means 128 stories critiqued. They're only short (500 words), but each one has to be considered and assessed as a story and I have to make helpful comments. It's not like just whipping through a technology assignment, ticking if they get the answer right and putting a cross if it's wrong then totting up the ticks and awarding a mark.

Anyway, for a few hours, I don't have any stories to critique. Then tomorrow I start all over again because I have to comment on the pieces of writing the students have done for the second tutorial.
