Small evengelical chapel, Hay-on-Wye

25/52 for the group T189ers Photo-a-week

This week's theme: Churches

I don't know what this chapel is called, but it looked very attractive against the blue sky. It seems to be some kind of independent evangelical church.

Taken on a recent visit to Hay-on-Wye.

In other news, I am suffering from the diary writer/blogger's eternal problem. When I have interesting things to write about, I'm too busy to blog. When I have plenty of time, I have nothing to talk about.

Suffice it to say that we have been zooming up and down Wales like a yo-yo recently. Since our last trip to Caerleon, we have been to:

- My dad's 90th birthday party in Llandudno
- Next day travelled down to Glasbury near Hay-on-Wye for a one day conference G had to attend.
- I spent the day wandering around Hay while G attended the conference at the posh hotel that used to be Laura Ashley's residence.

Tomorrow we're off to Caerleon again, then staying in South Wales for the weekend to attend our grandson's christening on Sunday.

It's always the same, we don't go anywhere for months and then have umpteen trips in about four weeks!

Thanks. It just caught my eye as I was walking past, but the blue paintwork matches the sky perfectly.

I love the way the sky matches the blue paint.

I just saw it as I was walking past and it looked so perfect against the blue sky. I was looking for churches for the theme, but I'd probably have snapped it anyway.

One may never enjoy coming home if one never leaves first.

Applies to Baseball games, as well. :o)

That is true. I am actually looking forward to next week and the prospect of being able to stay at home and make progress with cleaning the house and taming the garden. :)
