Poking at the novels again
I have finally realised that there is no reason why I can't start writing again, other than inertia. :)

The plan is to work on three novel projects in addition to sending out the short stories I wrote over the past couple of years.

Progress so far: I have started importing A Necessary Evil, scene by scene, into Writer's Café to see if writing software will help me sort out the mess that is the first umpteenth draft. There are 17 chapters of the thing. It will never be a literary masterpiece, so I'll see if I can finish it in Ripping Yarn mode and see how it ends up.

Other projects are: finish the NaNo Novel and start work on rewriting Moving a Mountain as a children's book.

Onwards and upwards!

You are working on three novels? I am soooo impressed. I have trouble concentrating on just one!

I have promised myself that I will get back to it this coming week. I don't seem to have written any prose for weeks. I have written a few poems, but nothing major.

It's a case of picking them up and finishing the bloody things. One is complete, but didn't sell and I have decided that it might work better as a kids story. One is the one I've been writing since I was 14, is almost complete in first draft and so it just needs the last few chapters writing. The other is about 45000 words of first draft written at a mad gallop. That also just wants finishing.

I thought I could work on whichever one appealed most and if one gets stuck, I can pick up another and push that forward instead. I need to get some of these projects finished!

Thanks!

It was partly your recent productivity that has spurred me on. :)
