31/52 for the group 52 in Twenty Eleven
This week's theme: Seeing double / Two
I had had vague plans to do some fancy PhotoShop work and clone myself into twins, but I'm supposed to be marking this week and anyway my husband is around all the time due to summer holidays and I get embarrassed enough taking self-portraits without having an audience.
So I've been wandering around all week muttering, "Double... Two..." and today the evening sun was shining into the conservatory straight onto this pair of Busy Lizzie flowers.
After rescuing them from the slugs, it was touch and go for a while. Only one plant in each pot survived, but they are now healthy and vigorous and covered in flowers. This one is the basic pink and the other has more of a salmony-organge tinge. Both are very pretty.
