Writing progress

Today I left work early (time off owed for evening classes) and would have written, but I couldn't because I didn't know what exactly happens next. After a bit of brainstorming with pen and paper, I have the contents of the next 4 chapters listed in brief. Next step is to plan these scenes in detail using the planning sheets.

Not sure how much writing I'll get done over the next few days as G flies off to Copenhagen the day after tomorrow, so Saturday will consist of a laundry and packing frenzy and on Sunday I have to drive to Manchester airport and back. Not sure how long this will take, but probably around 2.5 hours each way.

Words Wednesday: 446 (hand-written)
Words yesterday: 1208 (typed up hand-written words and then kept going)
Words today: 100 (planning notes)
Words in Chapter 9: 3046
Words total: 43,402

Reason for stopping: G has woken up from his nap and it's time to cook dinner.
