In other news, I'm still not 100% convinced about Google+, but I have just added a whole circle of British people. At first I thought this might have been a horrible mistake, I suddenly had about 450 extra people in my stream, most of whom were not posting stuff I wanted to read. (Eek! David Cameron. Eek! Nick Clegg) But in the weeding process I have discovered a few really interesting people I wouldn't have come across otherwise.
It still doesn't feel anything like as intimate and friendly over there as it does here, but I suspect it will serve a different purpose and, for me, will be instead of Twitter and Facebook. Apologies to those of you who tweet, but I have never really found a use for Twitter and 140 characters is just not my natural length!
