You're allowed to talk about the weather when it's dramatic
Scotland has been battered by gales and the rest of the UK has had high winds too. It's been pretty wild even here, and we're sheltered from the worst of the winds.

Because the weather had been reasonably fine yesterday and the forecast for today had been deceptively good, I'd left a few shirts out overnight on the line round the side of the house. So when I woke up this morning to the sound of a howling gale, my first thought was, "Noooo! The washing! Where on earth will it be?" Thankfully it was still there, but only due to the fact that it had twiddled itself round and round the line.

Anyway, I'm glad I went for the walk yesterday. I can do a bit of indoor exercise to tide me over to the next reasonable day.

I'm glad to hear your washing is safe. I have to admit I rather like this weather.

Glad you're okay - understand some in Dolgellau had to be evacuated!

Yes, from the posts I'm seeing from the UK, it does seem like you're having blog-worthy weather over there! Stay safe--I don't want to read that a tree has fallen on you!
