11/52 for the group 52 of 2012

This week's theme: Green

I don't normally have a problem with finding green things, but I missed the nice weather due to having an essay to write and today is grey and dull. Also things haven't really started growing yet, so everywhere is more grey-brown than green.

Then I remembered this bottle that I was about to put in the recycling. (Which is another kind of green!) I found it during a recent attempt to clear a shelf or two in the garage. It must be over 30 years old and dates back to when I kept horses.

To my surprise, the product is still available, but now comes in a handy spray bottle. :)

This suggests you are somewhere pretty rural?

This stuff must have taken the place of tar for treating wounds?

I am up in Gwynedd, in the south-west corner of the county not far from the coast. I don't have horses now, but I had a number of equines over a period of over 20 years.

I bought the green oil to treat a cut my pony (see icon) suffered when he was a foal. The vet prescribed it because it was supposed to reduce scarring. As he only had a tiny scar when everything eventually healed, I suppose it worked.

Ah! Prince Owain's country. I know Shopshire, just over the dyke there pretty well.
