34/52 for the group T189ers weekly alphabet challenge

This week's theme: Q is for Quarter

I felt very uninspired this week, so fell back on a Co-op cheese cake that we had for desert this week.

If you'd sketched it, as well, then it would have been drawn and quartered. ;-)

That's very clever, and looks very tasty. Wonder how many quinces and dishes of quorn will show up -- and photos of queues or things with "queen" in the name. It's not an easy quest, to find something different that begins with "q".

"Drawn and quartered" LOL!

This week's theme for that group was actually "Q is for Quarter", so all the photos had to be some interpretation of the word "Quarter". I have played various Flickr alphabet games though where you could include whatever you liked for a given letter, and the thread always tended to get stuck at "Q".

... quagmire, quail, quaint, quarry, quarters, quartet, quintet, quintupled, quintuplets (OK, that one's tough), quill, quiver ...

*grin*

Silly people.

Quaint is a good one and quarry isn't a problem for me, but not so easy if you live in the middle of London, but there really aren't as many options for "q". It's not just thinking of the word, it's being able to get a good photo in the required time frame that's the problem. Quagmire and quarry would require an expedition and finding a quail is a matter of luck. If it's a letter with lots of options, like "T", looking around the room, instantly available to photograph, I have teddy bear, touch screen, toe, table, tin and out of the window I can see trees.
